Usage Policy
Last updated September 19, 2026
This Usage Policy describes how you may and may not use VERTTX. It is part of our Terms of Service. We wrote it to be read: VERTTX is built for professionals doing real work for their businesses, and almost everything you would want to do with it is fine. This page draws the lines that keep the Services safe, lawful, and reliable for everyone.
Because your assistants run on an AI model provided by Anthropic, Anthropic's Usage Policy also governs how the model may be used, and we are required to pass its rules on to you. Where the two policies differ, the stricter one applies.
What VERTTX is for
VERTTX gives you role-based AI assistants — for sales, marketing, social media, accounting, founder operations, and custom roles you define — that know your business and help you produce work for it: drafts, plans, analysis, campaigns, calculations, documents, and answers. You may use everything your assistants produce for your business, including commercially, as long as you follow this Policy and review outputs before you rely on them.
Things you may not do
Do not use VERTTX, or anything it produces, to:
Break the law or harm people
- Violate any law or regulation, or help someone else do so;
- Threaten, harass, bully, intimidate, or incite violence against anyone;
- Promote self-harm, eating disorders, or dangerous activities;
- Discriminate against people based on a protected characteristic, or generate hateful content;
- Develop, design, or promote weapons, or produce content that could help someone cause serious physical harm (including chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, or explosive threats);
- Attack or disrupt critical infrastructure, or compromise computer systems (malware, exploits, unauthorized access, denial-of-service).
Deceive people
- Impersonate a real person or organization, or misrepresent who you are or who wrote something;
- Generate fake reviews, testimonials, endorsements, case studies, or social proof; invent statistics, quotes, credentials, or sources; or present fabricated content as fact;
- Create phishing, scams, fraudulent offers, or other deceptive commercial practices;
- Create disinformation, or content that undermines elections or democratic processes;
- Present AI-generated content as human-created where doing so would mislead people or is prohibited by a law that applies to you.
Violate rights
- Infringe anyone's copyright, trademark, trade secret, or other intellectual property;
- Violate anyone's privacy — for example by uploading personal data you have no right to use, or by trying to identify, track, or profile people without a lawful basis;
- Use someone's name, likeness, or voice without permission where the law requires it.
Produce sexual or exploitative content
- Generate sexually explicit content;
- Generate any content that sexualizes, exploits, or endangers minors — we report child sexual abuse material to the National Center for Missing & Exploited Children and to law enforcement.
Make high-stakes decisions without a human
The AI can help you think, but it is not a licensed professional and it does not know your full situation. Do not use VERTTX to:
- Make decisions that have legal or similarly significant effects on people — for example hiring, firing, credit, lending, insurance, housing, education, or medical decisions — based on AI output without meaningful review by a qualified person;
- Provide legal, tax, accounting, financial, medical, or other regulated professional advice to third parties without a licensed professional reviewing it first;
- File tax returns, regulatory submissions, or legal documents based on AI-generated figures or drafts that have not been verified by a qualified professional. Figures an assistant produces are illustrative frameworks, not filing-ready numbers.
Abuse the platform
- Share an account, create multiple accounts to get around trial or usage limits, or evade a suspension;
- Use bots, scripts, scrapers, or other automated tools to access the Services or to send messages;
- Resell the Services, offer them to third parties as a service, or use them to build a competing product;
- Use the Services or their output to train, fine-tune, or evaluate an AI model;
- Try to extract our system prompts or role configurations, reverse engineer the Services, or bypass the AI model's safety measures ("jailbreaking");
- Probe or test the security of the Services, access other users' data, or interfere with the Services' operation;
- Use the Services in an automated, bulk, or resale-scale manner inconsistent with genuine professional use (see our Usage Limits).
Being transparent about AI
Many of the things your assistants help you make — emails, posts, ads, proposals, reports — go out into the world under your name. That is fine; the output is yours. But you are responsible for it, and some laws require you to tell people when content is AI-generated or when they are interacting with an AI. This is increasingly true for marketing and advertising, political and public-interest content, customer-facing chat, and content aimed at consumers in the European Union. Know the rules that apply to your business, and make the disclosures they require.
Your content and other people's data
You are responsible for what you upload. Only give your assistants files and information you have the right to use, and be thoughtful about personal data belonging to your customers, prospects, or employees — you are the controller of that data, and we process it only to run your assistants. See our Privacy Policy.
How we enforce this Policy
We do not monitor your conversations. We rely on you to report problems, and we may review a conversation when you rate or report a response, when a provider's safety systems flag potential abuse, when we investigate a complaint, or when the law requires. If we find a violation, we may remove content, limit features, throttle usage, or suspend or terminate the account, depending on the severity. Where the law requires or permits, we may report activity to law enforcement or other authorities. We try to give you notice and a chance to respond before taking action, except where doing so would create risk to people, the Services, or an investigation.
You can appeal an enforcement decision by emailing contact@verttx.ai.
Reporting a problem
- A response that is wrong, offensive, or harmful: use the thumbs-down control on the message and choose "Report a problem." Reports go straight to our team.
- Someone misusing VERTTX, or content that infringes your rights: email contact@verttx.ai with as much detail as you can. For copyright complaints, see Section 10.3 of our Terms of Service.
- A security vulnerability: email contact@verttx.ai with the subject line "Security." Please give us a reasonable chance to fix it before disclosing it publicly, and do not access data that is not yours while testing.
Changes to this Policy
We may update this Policy as the product, the law, and our AI provider's requirements change. Material changes will be announced in the Services or by email at least thirty (30) days before they take effect; other changes take effect when posted. The "Last updated" date at the top shows the current version.
